"A DOCTOR IS MORE INTELLIGENT THAN A FOOTBALLER"

I don't agree with that sentence. In my opinion both of them are intelligent in their way.
A doctor must study a lot and later when he's working,he has to recognize an illness and know its cure from a chain of symptoms. Also they have to choose very quickly, specially the ones who work in the emergency area,a life can depend on the decision they take. Also they need to predict and be logical to know what can happen if they give to their patient that or another treatment.
A footballer, however, don't need to be very logical or to study a lot.Instead of that, they have to be strategic and make ggod moves to score goals. To shoot a foul a footballer has to calculate the distance from his positioon to the goal, the power which he has to shoot the ball with and controlwhere are the other players.
In short ,from my point of view, both of them are intelligent but they need different intelligences.

The Fallas

From 12 to 19 March, the city of Valencia celebrates the Fallas of Saint Joseph, a festival declared of International Tourist Interest. In this feast the most important thing is the fire, because about 700 monuments of papier maché are burnt during the called Nit del Foc (Night of Fire). Its origin is pagan. A permanent feature of the Fallas are musical bands, firecrackets and rockets called mascletá and floral offerings.

AN SPANISH FESTIVAL by Cristina Solís.

I'm not really sure if this is a festival but...

In Boicarent (Valencia) there is a tradition since 1860 called "Moros y Cristianos"(Moorishes and Christians).
In this festival there are two different groups ,obviosly, one of them is the christian group and the other one the moorish group. In the morning the moorishes conquer the castle of the city but in the evening after a "battle" they are defeated by the christians and they have to leave the castle and become christians.

MY FAVOURITE FILM by Cristina Solís

My favourite film is "The Godfather" starred by Marlon Brando and Al Pacino another actors participated in this film as Diane Keaton or Robert de Niro.Apart from the actors I love this film because the story it tells. It is about an Italian family that lives in U.S.A and how they get the most powerful family in America using illegal forms, they are a mafia. It also shows the importance they give to the "family" and how they help each other at the beginning, because at the end of the film this importance they gave to it disappears and even he kills his brother to preserve the family power.
This film is also one of the best ever made and it was directed by one of the best directors: Francis Ford Coppola.

Neil’s Armstrong Achievement

Neil Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. He holds a degree in aeronautical engineering from Purdue University and a master degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California. From 1949 to 1952, Armstrong was a naval aviator. Upon leaving military service, he became a test pilot. While serving as a test pilot, he was chosen to be a member of the astronaut corps. His first space flight occurred in 1966 aboard Gemini 8. During this flight, he and fellow astronaut David Scott successfully performed the first docking in space between two vehicles. In July of 1969, Neil Armstrong was the commander of Apollo 11, America's first attempt to land a manned vehicle on the Moon. On July 20, 1969 Commander Armstrong and fellow astronaut Edwin Aldrin successfully touched down on the lunar surface. As Armstrong became the first person to touch the Moon's surface, he spoke the unforgettable phrase, "That's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind".

I have a friend unbearable, she thinks that konws everything, that she is perfect.
The most thing that I hate is that you have to go where she wants. She wants to konw everything and she doesnñt want to meet and go out with other people or with new friends, only with her group and she is very very very posh, the most of the world, and she dress like a model with the clothes that are at the magazines.

Tips for a foreign student in Spain.

I think that one of the most important things that a foreigner student can do to learn Spanish is to live like a Spanish person. For example, it’s important to get the bus o subway because the different signals help him to learn the meaning of the signals in Spanish. Other thing is go to the market to read the names of different products like fruits or vegetables.

BATMAN

My favourite superhero is Batman because he is a crimefighter who has a secret identity. He is my favourite superhero because he can fly, jump... but that is not the best, the best is that he doesn’t have any superpower than the others superheroes, for example Superman who can fly without technology. Bruce Wayne is a wealthy man who is a business man during the day but during the night he becomes in Batman, a superhero who is considered a Manhattan’s crimefighter. Really I don’t like very very much Batman but I think he is the most original superhero.

WHAT QUALITIES SHOULD A BEST FRIEND HAVE?

I'm writting the qualities that I'd like my best friend have.
One of the most important qualities that I think every friend should have is listen to you. Many people are always talking about themselves:"Last day I went to...","I bought this...,I...,I..." it's always them and when one day you finally decide to talk about yourself a little he or she doesn't listen to you.So this is one important quality your best friend should have:listen to you.And of course if you tell him a secret he must keep it and don't tell to anybody!
Another important quality is to have the same sense of humour as you,I mean, your best friend should realize when you're being ironic, understand your jokes, laugh about the same thing...
Generosity. This is a quality I value a lot.One day you could forget your homework and in that case you need a generous best friend who let you copy his homework or notes sometimes.
Obviously a best friend should have your same likes:listen to music(although if you don't listen to the same kind of music),read books,go to the cinema, going out,go shopping...
These are the qualities which my perfect best friend should have.
Picture:my best friend Sonia and me in our school party.
