Naomi Klein thinks that Logos are words in an international language. She also thinks that every people in the world recognises the logos of the most important brand names in the market and hat we should worry about who we're and not about we've got, but we think that she is a bit right, but not totally right.

We think Naomi is completely right in her opinions about the brands and global companies.
About the logos, she's absolutely right too. We think they have become a normal sign, but we don't realise, that it's an advertisement.
We are extremely agree with her that is imposible to escape from adverts!
We also think that it is right that brands explote people from poor countries, like China and Indonesia, and it's a problem; but the brands aren't as bad as she says because if they aren't brands there won't be any products.

our opinion
We think that Noemi Klein is right in one part because brands are very popular and people buy them a lot, but if we recognise the logos is because we are consumers.
Is true that there's no escape from advertising because to know about brands or products, we must see it, e.g on TV, streets, magazines, advertisements, etc.
She is completly right when she sais that there's "a darkest side" because there is a big imbalance between the famous people who lend them image and the unknow people who work hard to win only a few cents. We think that famous people earn that quantity only because them image but we, the consumers, don't mind about that, we only want the brand. Anyway she is right but she has brands like us.

My film idea:
Some Italian students of about 14 years old come to Spain for an interchange, and they stay at British Council with some other Spanish students. Suddendly one of the Spanish students died. Anybody of the students know who is the murder. Other people start dying, a teacher, some Italian student...
Then, two Spanish students and a police officer start discovering things about the murder and finally they catch him.

My personal anecdote
I remember a day when every thing were wrong; it was fives days before the end of the school.I was doing my final exams of ''Licenza elementare'' while I was doing it immediately the fire alarm rang and all my class went out of the school because someone called the school and said that there was bomb into it. After 10 minutes the police arrived but they didn't found anything, then we returned to the class for continue the exam .
I don't know how but the school let know that a student of my class for not have the exams called the school and invented the story of the bomb but the school didn't know his or her name. The director decide to punish all my class. We were expulsed for 3 days of the school and we must finished the school two days after the other students. My class finshed the exams with a vey bads marks.
When i arrived home my mum punished me for the bad mark on the exam, 3 weeks without go out with my friends. In the end the school found the
responsabile but we had still done the punishment.
But all of sudden there isn't as bad as we think have a day like that I prefer this kind of days as have normally and boring days because life mustn't be boring must it?

It is the worst day of my last holidays. I went to my sailing's class because I was preparing for be a sailing's monitor. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the sea was good for sailing.
As soon as I arrived there a teacher said me that I was going to sail with a child and his father. All of a sudden I looked them and I saw a little child and a fat man.
We go out to sail. After the teachers were behind us in an other boat. The father and the child told me that was their first day.
When we were sailing the man was feeling sick and suddenly the man nearly fell to the water. Then his son started to cried. Immediately I looked the teachers' boat and they were laughing and talking. Until I didn't call them, they didn't come. At last, I got that the child stopped to cry. Before that I knew that this day was going be very bad.

The Worst Day of My Life
Probably that is the worst day of my life. I had to do an important speech at school about the pollution in Spain. I am a little bit shy and the night before I was really nervious, all the teachers and all the students will hear me!! So I went to the bed early because I had to be relaxed for the next day.
When I woke up, I had a shower and while I was having breakfast my mother arrive to the kitchen and asked me if I was nervious, but when I was going to answer I realized that I had a cold and I have lost my voice and I couldn´t speak properly!! What could I do??.
When I arrived to the school I could speak a little bit better, so I relaxed.I was at the playground when my teacher said to me that we had to prepare the speech, so I went with her to the theatre (where the speech will be in).I had to gave the plan for the speech to the teacher when I realized that I have forgot the planning at home!! Oh my god, everything was going wrong!!

It was 15th December. The next day was the last day of school because of the Christmas holidays. I was so nervous, and I could't sleep on that night. Finally, but very late, I got sleep.
The next day, 16th I wake up very late because I hadn't slept.
I arrive to school very late too. Suddenly, my teacher got angry with me and said me that he was going to call my mother for tell her the problem. 'Oh, nooo!' - I thought. I wasn't going to have holidays, my mother was going to punish me!
Then, my day in school was very tired and I don't know why, but all of my teachers got angry with me. I didn't pass any of my final exams!!!
And after; when I was in the break, inmediately I broke my leg.... :-(

One day, 1 or 2 years ago, my course went to a school outing. We went to Toledo, in the middle of the way, our bus lost a wheel, so we had to go to a shop nearly to buy one and put it. After that we arrived to Toledo, one kid lost himself in the city
After 2 hours of searching, we founded him. Then we went to a countryside and one of my best friends fall into a lake. We had a lot of fun over there, but then I fall off in the mud. After all this things, we had lunch. It was horrible, the worst food I ever taked.
Then we played a football match in a freezed place, every people hurted by falling off by the ice. One kid broked a leg.
Luckyly, we went back home, but we hadn't got gasoil. Then we bought it and went back home.

| MY PROJECT IDEA I think we can do a project like this: Some Italians students came to the British Council in a change. One of this was a murder and he or she killed a theacher. The Spanish students who are in Italy saw in the newspaper that a murder had leaved Italy and arrived in Spanin to kill more people. They saw the photo and it was the student who came to Spain. | MY PERSONAL ANECDOTE A day when something went wrong One day I got up very late because my alarm clock had broken. Because of that I didn´t caught the bus. Mum wasn´t at home so she couldn´t help me.I run and runand I arrived there after the break finished. My teacher were very angry and as soon as I could leaved my bag she asked me for the homework. But... oh no! I had left my homework at home. Following I forgot my maths book it was terrible! At the end of the class I went home but suddendly it started raining and I didn´t have an umbrella. When I went home my parents weren´t at home so I couldn´t get into the house. It stooped raining so I thought I could study before my parents came home. So I put some books in a part of the street. Inmediately I noticed that my maths book wasn´t there and I had and exam the following day. When my parents arrived they forgot their keys at home so we had to stayed in the street for three hours and my mother had bought some frozen food for dinner and it got off. So we hadn´t anything for dinner! It was a terrible day! |

THE FREE MURDERERS
One May 5 in the interchange office of the Italian ambassade from Spain,planed to make an interchange between Sicilians students and Madridians students.The Italians aren't going to stay in hosts families,they're going to stay in the Brithish Council of Madrid and the Spanish students are going to stay in the Brithish ambassade of Italy.The Italians students (Enzo,Andrea and Michelangelo)don't know that Michelangelo isn't a student.The reality is that Michelangelo is a murderer .He's a mafian that is very small.................................................................etc.

My ideas:
- If we want to do a good film, all of we must participate. For it we’ll be the leading actors.
- We must think about a theme. I think that it could be a group of friends that go to a trip. The group is divided in several parts; there are some stroppy people who don’t stand cool people. For the convivence they must start a relationship.
The next thing:
- The next thing would be that we organize our characters and our rolls and that we write the teat cast to decide who is who in the film or to choose who we want be in the film.
- We also can rehearse in class, correct our mistakes, and then we can start filming!!!

I think we don't need very much things, just very much interest and participation. This interest and participation will make that we think IDEAS. The ideas are the base for our project, because without imagination you can't do anything in the artistic live.
It could be a good idea to use the last part of the class (after the break) to think ideas, and the person who starts with the first good idea will be the person who makes the class stand up and get more and more ideas and then... we'll have the film done!
The materials are not important, because they're easy to find, but the ideas must be searched and thinked previously.

This is an example of Spanish comedy. It´s a sketch about Mexican soap opera imitating by the programme Homo zapping News. Jose (Cruz y Raya) by Enzo and Ana
It's an example of dressing up as different people and original sketches. He really cracks us up.
Jose is one of the components of Cruz y Raya, but we think he's the best. In this sketch he dress up as Michael Jackson, we think it's very difficult and he does very well. He does too much sketches but this is one of the best. He goes in for imitate famous people and puts on a lot different voices. He's one of the best laughters in Spain. He makes us burst of laughing.

José Corbacho doing a perfect imitation of Carlos Sobera, he normally looks very witty but when he wants to make the people fall about laughing he wears like everything that is funny. He makes up good and original sketches in Homo Zapping so he have got a lot of succes. He cracks you up easylly and in Buenafuente (TV Program that is showed on Antena3 from 00:00 to 2:00 - 3:00 a.m) he gets into trouble and then gets out of them. Also he can imitate the voice and the way of wearing of a famous person We think he is so funny.
MY FILM IDEA:
I think we should do a horror film because it wont be too difficult to decorate the classroom. My idea it's:
A group of friends that are in a school trip. We are going to spend a week in a small village and they have to stay in a old house in the middle of the country. The teachers have forbiden them to go out of the house during the night, but one night they were bored and when the teachers were slepping, they took their torchs and some jumpers, because it was cold,some food and drinks, and they escape from the house.
They walk for a while a they arrived to the village. It was completely deserted, everybody was at home, but it doesn´t matter, they went to the main street they had a rest because they were a little bit tired. It was really cold and too late, so they started walking. But they realized that they have forgot the way to came back to the house!!
They walked and walked, but they didn't remember anything. Suddenly one of the boys realized that they were at the CEMENTERY!!! It was colder and very dark, so hey switch on their torchs, it was full of tombs with spider's web and bats, everybody were scared.....What will happend??Will they came back home??It's a mistery....

I think we can do a horror film.
At British Council I think it's more or less easy make a film; because we have a big space to do it.
We should try to do a good-made film, I explain: with good efects, professional and serious actors, and a good director; for example Lee.
I like horror films but mix with a little of comedy. Sometimes, when you are very scared watching a horror film you thank a little of humour.
I always liked good-made horror films because you enter into it, you're like another character.
For examble: we could do:
Three friends are in the British Council and suddenly the lights turn off. All become strange. The teachers are transforming in skeletons. The students are snakes...
I think we could make it without problems.

I think we can do a film like this: some friends got into a house and two of them heared noises, The others thought they were craizy. But that night someone killed two of them. Next night a person killed two more friends. then an other and an other. Finally only the two friends who heared that noises were ok. They went again to the house and the saw a letter. It saied that night they were going to died. And that night they saw a man who said he had killed the other friends and he tried to killed them. But one of them called the police and they found the man and the film ended |

An ideal film must have emotion,special effects,a good place,a good zoom,a good dialogue and good actors and actress.If you want to make science-fiction film you must have weapons,explosives,car chases and terrorist.The best science-fiction films for me are the American films.My favourite film is "Kidnap in Alcatraz".Spanish science-fiction films aren't so good but "Alatriste" has lots of special effects and is my second favourite film.

I think we should try to do a comedy film so we'd have more fun while we're making de film. Here I write a little summary of my idea:
3 friends, 1 boy and 2 girls. They had a lot of fun last night but... Where are they right now? They don't know so they're looking for their car to go back home, and lots of weird things are happening... They're in the British Council, and there are a lot of students who will make a lot of crazy things that will make you die laughting!

If you're going to come in August, it isn't a problem because in July I am going to Italy with my family.
About the best dates for me, I am going to be here all the month, so... you can come when you want. But I would like, if you tell me the arriving day and the leaving day, for preparing.
Here, at summer, the climate is dry, and the weather hot and sunny.
So, I recommend you to bring t-shirts, shorts, one pair of jeans, one jersey, sandals and trainers.
I put "one" in bold, because in summer,especially in Madrid, thermometer it's up of 40ºC (104ºF).
Why did you ask me: what sort of presents would your parents like?
You don't have to bring any present, it's not necessary!

I have got a lot of friends there, as soon as we arrive we will meet with them. They are very sociable, cheerful and funny. There will be a lot of parties at night.
This year some famous music groups will there and I have got tickets for all concerts. It will be very funny!!

My friend María is a very good person. She´s very sympathetic but she´s a bit shy . When someone has a problem she help them. She´s very sensible but sometimes is a biT. I think she is rather ambitious and when she wants something she`s very competitive. At school se is very hard - working so she has very good marks. She has some very good friends.
I met her 8 years ago in summer. We go to the same school . I started to talk to her and now we are very good friends. We do lots of things together. When we are together we have a fantastic time.

I'd prefer that you come before, in June or July, but if you haven't got holiday until August, there's no problem. I think you should know that in Spain (specially in Madrid), the weather is very hot and dry, so it's better that you bring some clothes like T-shirts, shorts, caps... Anyway, if you forgive to bring something you can borrow me everything you want! My parents don't have any special like or dislike, but my father likes courious and artesanal things, you know.

You can come to madrid when you want, I'll be all agust in madrid; here is very hot so bring summer clothes and swimclothes too beacuse I've a big swimming pool.

I like english food, but I like more our food. My house ísn´t too big but we have a bedroom only for you because you´re very important. WRITING ABOUT SPAIN
LIKES:
We both like the LFP,we like the Spanish food like paella and Madrid's
cocido.In spain there are lot of museums,of course in Madrid.We can't stand Zapatero.
We love sports like basketball and football,we're both fans of Getafe and Real Madrid.
We really like Spanish music,like El Canto del Loco.
DISLIKES:
We both hate the nationalitist from Cataluña,Vascongadas,Navarra and we can't stand Luis Aragones.We hate the shop lifters.

Andrea and Cristina can't stand Flamenco is very boring. They don't like very much Spanish food, they prefer Italian's. Both hate Spanish films .
Cristina 'd live in Denmark in Copenaghen because she thinks that the city is very beautiful and she travell to the city and she enjoy it .Sha doesn't think she'd want to live in copenaghen for ever sshe will return to Spain

We both were born in the capital of Spain, Madrid. So, we like to live hear, in our country.
For us, Spain is one of the bests places to live around the world.
LIKES
We both really like Spanish food because it is taste and healthy. We also prefer our timetable respect to other European countries because we have dinner and go to bed later.
Carlos loves sports, especially football. His favourite team is Real Madrid.
He wouldn't mind seeing a bullfight.
David really keens on the beaches, especially Mediterranean.
He also is really into the Spanish music bands, like El Canto del Loco and Mecano.
DISLIKES
We both hate the Catalan nacionalistics and we also don't like the big traffic jams in Madrid (and in other important cities).
Carlos doesn't keen on himself watching reallity shows, like ''Gran Hermano''.
David can't stand foreign series.
WOULD LIKE TO LIVE
Carlos would like to live in the United States because he really likes all sports and in the United States there are lots.
David would like to live in Italy because he loves Italian food, and Italians, in general.
Carmen's and Jaime's likes and dislikes
Jaime and Carmen love Spanish football, thanks to the Spanish ''La Liga''. They just love the people of Spain because they're so likeable. They're really into Spanish music and they really like Spanish films and actors or actress. They prefer Spanish food because they think it's healthy and it tastes good, like Padron's peppers or Valencian's paella. They'd rather to know about the Spanish culture and they really keen on the Spanish artesanal products like ''botijo'' (Spanish artesanal product that is used to keep cold the water)
They just hate the Spanish politics because they think it just create a lot of problems and it separes the people. Both can't stand the noise and pollution of the most important cities like Madrid, Barcelona or Sevilla. They don't think they'd want to the San Fermines (Spanish national party that is a race with bulls and people placed in Pamplona, Navarra)
They would like to live in Buenos Aires (Argentina) because they think the people are very funny because of their way of speaking Spanish, also the food is very good in Argentina, like a nice beef steak or something else. The women too are very beautiful and chatty.

I met Ana 5 years ago, while I was spending my summer holidays with my family in Javea. One day, I was in the swimming pool with my friends when she arrived and she started to play with us. We were together the following days and she became my closest friend.
She is 14 years old. She lives in Valencia but it isn't a problem because we get in touch by messenger every day. In summer we spend our holidays together because we continue going to Javea.
We both like the same kind of music and groups, such us El canto del loco and La oreja de van gogh. We both enjoy doing summer sports, like sailing, and other ones such us tennis. We like animals too, and we love go walking with our dogs.
She is hard-working, kind, sociable and cheerful with all people. She loves meeting new people and when we are together we laugh a lot.

My closest friend
I think my closest friend is Miguel, he is 14 years old and he's got blond hair and blue eyes. It's courious that I met him in the British Council last year. He's very tall and thin, so every girls like to go with him. We have the same hobbies like playing computer games ,doing something fun at street or go out with our friends.
He is very sociable and funny, so he haven't got any problems to meet people, he's too very chatty, impatient and likeable so he is always doing something.
He lives in Madrid and he goes to Buen Consejo School. We have a lot of things in common so when we're bored we talk about our life or something else and we have fun.
The best thing I remember I've done with him is when we gone to Negone™ La Fuga and we opened the doors by punchs and we finished in the electrical chair.
